The Hollister Motorcycle Rally, known as the home of the first rally and the Birth of the American Biker... The movie "The Wild One" was based on the 1947 rally known as the "Hollister Riot"

The Wild One. Good flick. :)
I just attended Muskegon Bike Time. The first thing I noticed in your photo, is the absence of trash cans and porta-potties, near the street.
Every wide angle photo I took has several of them in the back ground. :(
Busy street. :D

There were plenty of both. The ports-potties were on the side streets and in parking lots so as not to impede the flow of pedestrian traffic. I saw no trash on the ground both days I was there. Very well organized.

Our event has food vendors, just off the sidewalks, so there are plenty of big blue trash bins. Like wise with the johns.
I shoot a lot of riders, as they go by, and I can't really choose my spots, because I am also heading elsewhere. :)
Good organizers at Sturgis. :D
