Taken from Mount Hamilton about two thirds of the way up to the Lick Observatory... one of my favorite drives. It's a little more than 19 miles to the observatory up Mt. Hamilton Road which rises over 4000 feet and has 365 curves, one for each day of the year. The views of the Santa Clara "Silicon" Valley are spectacular, and from the top you can clearly see San Francisco 50 miles to the north.
